Mr. Adel Mohammed Al Ahmad is a Registered Nurse and Certified Diabetes Educator with a strong clinical background and over 15 years of healthcare experience. He currently supports the multidisciplinary endocrinology team at Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, where he provides patient-centred diabetes education and training.
Mr. Adel earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2008. He became a Certified Diabetes Educator in 2022 and has since focused on empowering individuals living with diabetes to better understand and manage their condition through structured education and ongoing clinical support.
Before joining Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Mr. Adel worked at a military hospital from 2014 to 2022, where he served as a First Aid and CPR educator. In 2022, he also contributed to diabetes care at the Endocrinology Clinic of Zayed Military Hospital (ZMH), enhancing patient engagement and clinical outcomes.
Mr. Adel’s current practice includes training adult patients on advanced insulin pump technologies, delivering tailored education sessions, and offering both physical and emotional support to those navigating the challenges of diabetes.
