Kidney Health

People with diabetes and high blood pressure are more susceptible to kidney disease. Elevated blood sugar levels can gradually lead to kidney damage, limiting the body's ability to eliminate waste and fluids. This, in turn, results in the accumulation of waste in the bloodstream.

However, regular kidney screenings and early treatment can help your kidneys stay healthy longer. At Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, our kidney specialists are well-versed in the latest advancements in diabetic and hypertensive chronic kidney disease treatment.

We offer a range of personalized therapy options tailored to your specific needs. From medication management to lifestyle modifications, we are committed to finding the best approach to manage your condition effectively.

Through regular screenings and close monitoring, we can also detect early signs of kidney damage and implement strategies to slow down the progression of the disease.

In advanced stages of diabetic chronic kidney disease, we provide comprehensive care to ensure optimal quality of life.

Our services are delivered by an experienced multidisciplinary team comprising of prominent specialists who are recognized experts in their respective fields.
