Amer Khalil Abu Eid
Diabetes Educator
Amer Khalil Abu Eid is a Diabetes Educator, who has worked with Endocrinologists and Diabetologists at the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre in Abu Dhabi, a Mubadala Health partner, for 16 years.
A certified insulin pumps trainer from Medtronic, he works with patients from all age groups, including children and their families, training them on insulin pumps, which have an important and effective role in controlling and improving their diabetes.
Amer Khalil holds a Diploma in Nursing, from Lebanon. He is a certified Diabetes Educator from the Imperial Diabetes Educator Training Program and is licensed as a Health Educator by the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi. He is also a core faculty member of the Imperial Diabetes Educator Training (IDET) course since 2018.
He has also co-authored a book on the paediatric insulin pump and given several educational lectures.
