Nabila Abu Daia
Diabetes Educator
Nabila Abu Daia is Diabetes Educator at Imperial College London Diabetes Centre in Abu Dhabi, a Mubadala Health partner, where she has worked with endocrinologists for almost 5 years.
She plays a vital role in supporting people with diabetes to manage their condition and achieve optimal health outcomes. She help patients understand their diagnosis and treatment methods, as well as enable them to develop effective self-care behaviours.
Nabila received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from RAK university, in UAE, before going on to attain one year training course from ICLDC to become a certified Diabetes Educator in 2017 . She is also a certified Insulin Pump trainer since 2021.
She has been a member of the faculty of the Imperial Diabetes Educator Training course (IDET) since 2021.
