A diabetes support group can provide both educational information and emotional support. These groups are a great way to meet others, make connections and share experiences living with diabetes.
The SUKKAR Diabetes Support Group, is organised by Imperial College London Diabetes Centre to help provide educational, social and emotional support for those affected by diabetes. The sessions take place once a month at our Al Ain branch with each meeting focused on a different topic.
Presented by our dietician Aysha, our diabetes educators Mohammed Khalifa and Manar Abu Asaba and chaired by Dr Amani Osman.
The topic for our February Support Group session will be presented by Dr. Heba Al Gayar. Chaired by Dr. Amani Osman and supported by educators Mohammed Khalifa and Manar Abu Sabaa.
