Reem Khoury is a Senior Dietician and Diabetes Educator at the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre (ICLDC), a Mubadala Health partner, with over 15 years’ accumulated professional experience.
In her role at ICLDC, Reem is responsible for educating patients with Diabetes and providing them with the necessary dietary plans. She has been involved in developing educational materials for patients and contributes to various outreach programmes as part of ICLDC’s the public health campaign.
Reem has also helped plan and present the Structured Educational Program (SEP) for type 1 and type 2 patients with Diabetes Mellitus. She has also conducted numerous carb-counting group sessions to host patients and their families.
Reem graduated with a B.A. in Nutrition and Food Science, from Applied Science University in Amman, Jordan. In addition, she was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Diabetes with Merit from the University of South Wales, UK, where she is currently working towards a Master's degree in Diabetes.
During her tenure at ICLDC, Reem enrolled in the Imperial Diabetes Educators’ Training Program (IDET) and qualified as a Certified Diabetes Educator. She has now gone on to become a faculty and teaching member of IDET.
