Biography
Dr. Amr Morsi brings over a decade of medical expertise to his role, including eight years of dedicated experience in the field of Paediatric Endocrinology. He is an American-board-certified physician specialising in Paediatric Endocrinology. Prior to joining Imperial College London Diabetes Centre in Al Ain, Dr. Morsi practised as a Paediatric Endocrinologist at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania, United States, where he helped to serve paediatric patients with complex needs.
Dr. Morsi obtained his MBBCh degree in 2003 from Cairo University, Egypt. Soon afterwards, he was able to pursue his residency in Paediatrics at Texas Tech University in Texas, United States, and obtained certification from the American Board of Pediatrics in 2015, a testament to his enduring commitment.
Dr. Morsi's passion for Paediatric Endocrinology led him to complete a comprehensive three-year fellowship in this specialised field at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, United States, achieving Diplomate status in Paediatric Endocrinology from the esteemed American Board of Pediatrics in 2019.
With a passion to serve paediatric patients and help them lead healthier lives, Dr. Morsi has adopted a child-friendly approach to his practice. He is passionate about treating a wide range of conditions including diabetes mellitus, hypoglycaemia, thyroid disorders, growth disorders, puberty disorders, pituitary gland disorders, adrenal gland disorders, and bone calcium disorders and weight management.
