Biography
Dr. Fatema Al Hammadi has over twelve years of experience in Endocrinology.
Dr. Al Hammadi obtained her degree in Basic Medical Sciences and Doctor of Medicine from Arabian Gulf University, Bahrain, in 2003 and 2005 respectively. She completed her training, residency, and fellowship in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC). Dr. Al Hammadi is Arab Board certified in Internal Medicine since 2011 and has been certified in the Examination in Endocrinology and Diabetes by the Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom, the Association of British Clinical Diabetologists, and the Society for Endocrinology since 2012.
Dr. Al Hammadi specialises in endocrine disorders, diabetes, and obesity management. She has held leadership roles such as Endocrinology Consultant and Deputy Chair of Education at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City.
Prior to joining Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Dr. Al Hammadi worked at HealthPlus Diabetes and Endocrinology Center.
Dr. Al Hammadi’s scope of practice includes managing type 1 and type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, thyroid disorders including hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism, adrenal and pituitary gland disorders, obesity management, and osteoporosis.

Comprehensive diabetes management, obesity management, thyroid disease diagnosis and treatment, management of adrenal and pituitary disorders, and care for patients with endocrine-related infertility or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
