Biography
Dr. Eliwe has 16 years of medical experience in Endocrinology.
Dr. Eliwe obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Aleppo University School of Medicine, Syria. He completed his Basic Medical Training (Internal Medicine Residency Program) at Northern Ireland and England NHS, UK. Dr. Eliwe also completed the Endocrinology & Diabetes Training Program at NHS England — South East, UK.
Dr. Eliwe has been involved in several noteworthy endeavours, including participation in the National Diabetes Audit of the UK and receiving the Trainer Award at King’s College Hospital. He has served as an examiner for Practical Assessment of Clinical Examination Skills for Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians (. Dr. Eliwe has also published thyroid and adrenal case studies with the Endocrine Society, UK.
Prior to joining Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Dr. Eliwe was a Consultant in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and General Medicine at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, UK.
Dr. Eliwe’s scope of practice includes all types of diabetes, including pregnancy diabetes, endocrine disorders in pregnancy, calcium and Vitamin D disorders, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, thyroid disorders, diabetes in older people, diabetes and chronic kidney disease, obesity treatment, and prolactin disorders.

Dr. Eliwe’s field of expertise covers extensive experience in all adult diabetes treatment, endocrine disorders management in adults, male hypogonadism, fertility assistance in high prolactin levels, and thyroid nodules.
