Biography
Dr. Sara Haboosh Al Hebshi is a UK-trained Endocrinology Consultant with over 15 years of work experience.
She graduated from King’s College London (KCL) and University College London (UCL), the latter being where she obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Her clinical training took place in a multitude of NHS centres in England. She also worked for several years in SEHA in the UAE where she gained valuable experience as a Specialist in Internal and Obstetric Medicine, managing a range of medical complications in pregnancy including pre-existing and gestational diabetes.
Her interest in Endocrinology and Diabetes led her to focus further on this field. She underwent training in the prestigious Imperial College London Healthcare Trust, UK, where she completed a Hybrid Fellowship programme in Diabetes and Endocrinology. Subsequently, she worked in the renowned Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital London as a Senior Clinical Fellow in Diabetes and Endocrinology. Her higher training and work experience led her to achieving UK Diabetes and Endocrinology Consultant status.
Dr. Haboosh A Hebshi’s scope of practice includes treating various clinical endocrinology diseases, such as adrenal, pituitary, and gonadal diseases, all types of diabetes (including pregnancy-related), thyroid diseases, osteoporosis, and lipid disorders.
