Biography
Dr. Waleed Farag has more than eight years of specialist experience in Cardiology.
Dr. Farag achieved his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Mansoura University, Egypt, in 2011. Subsequently, he pursued his Master's degree in Cardiovascular Diseases at the same institution from 2015 to 2019. Complementing his medical expertise, Dr. Farag also holds a Diploma in Total Quality Management for Healthcare, earned from the American University in Cairo between 2012 and 2013.
Prior to joining ICLDC, Dr. Farag worked as a Specialist Cardiologist at the Zayed Military Hospital (ZMH) in Abu Dhabi. Following his tenure at ZMH, he worked as Specialist Cardiologist and was Head of the Cardiology Department at NMC Royal in Mohammad Bin Zayed City, whilst also being the head of Cardiology for NMC Medical centers’ cluster in Abu-Dhabi).
Dr. Farag’s scope of practice includes Chronic Heart failure, Uncontrolled or Resistant Hypertension, Ischemic Heart disease, Cardiac Arrhythmia and Hyperlipidemia.
