A diabetes support group can provide both educational information and emotional support. These groups are a great way to meet others, make connections and share experiences living with diabetes.
The Diabetes Support Group is organised by Imperial College London Diabetes Centre to help provide educational, social and emotional support for those affected by diabetes. The sessions take place once a month at our Al Ain branch with each meeting focused on a different topic.
The sessions are led by Dr. Amani Othman, Consultant Paediatric Diabetologist at the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, and supported by our dietician Aisha Al-Shibli and our team specialized in diabetes education Mohammed Khalifa and Manar Abu Asaba.
The topic for our June support group session will be presented by our dietitian Aysha Al Shebli. Chaired by Dr. Amani Osman and supported by educators Mohammed Khalifa and Manar Abu Sabaa.
