To enable our patients to have their thyroid related problems managed in a combined multi-disciplinary setting, we have partnered with our sister facility, Healthpoint, to establish an integrated thyroid clinic. The clinic is equipped to perform a wide range of procedures, such as thyroid examination, non-invasive ultrasonography, ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration (FNA), thyroid nodule ablation (with sclerosing agent or thermal ablation), and various types of surgery including partial and total thyroidectomy as well as parathyroidectomy.
We have also partnered with our sister company, Healthpoint, to treat Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and give patients the opportunity of receiving diagnosis and treatment for endocrinology, dermatology and gynecology in liaison and under one roof. With an integrated multi-disciplinary approach delivered by the first-of-its-kind clinic in the UAE, we offer initial assessments, investigations and management of PCOS including oligo/amenorrhea, infertility, hirsutism/acne and obesity/metabolic syndrome.
Our paediatric endocrinologists specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of children with diseases of the endocrine system, such as diabetes, growth and reproduction development disorders.
