What does home haemodialysis involve?
- When selecting a home haemodialysis system, consider the space you need for the device, and procedure, and the family member you would like to involve.
- Our home haemodialysis service utilises the Tablo® System - an all-in-one device capable of achieving clearance goals in as little as three treatments per week.
- Tablo is a state-of-the-art, first of its kind machine that easily integrates into any living space. Tablo is small, compact, and does not require any additional water treatment equipment.
- The Tablo system has similar/comparable water and electrical requirements as traditional machines but requires less storage space and consumes significantly less water.
- Once you confirm selection of home haemodialysis, a team of specialists will work with you and your family to take a water sample in your home and find a suitable space required for the safe delivery of the dialysis procedure.
- The dialysis team will meet with you and your family for more information related to your haemodialysis at home.
