Dr. Wafic Wafa

Biography

Dr. Wafic Wafa is a consultant endocrinologist who treats diabetes and endocrine disorders. He did his medical training in New York state, receiving American Board Certification in internal medicine , endocrinology and diabetes. Dr. Wafa then moved back to the Middle East where he was a Consultant Endocrinologist at the Specialised Medical Centre Hospital at Riyadh for five years before joining ICLDC's Al Ain branch in 2011.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he is also involved in managing the Al Ain centre, in his capacity as Lead Clinician, since 2015. He also plays an active role in multiple committees pertinent to patient care, patient satisfaction, quality improvement, revenue cycle management, research and education.
