Recently, several medication brands have been changed.
This change in medication brands has been authorized by Thiqa/ Daman and other providers under assurance provided by the Department of Health (DoH) for their safety and efficacy.
You may find the size, taste and shape of these brands are different than what you are used to, however DoH has assured us the medicinal equivalent is the same.
For any concerns, please refer to the DoH references below and further questions may be addressed by your pharmacist.
The usual branded version of your medication can still be prescribed and collected from our pharmacy (if available) or from an external pharmacy for a co-pay / out-of-pocket payment per the guidelines from the DoH and Daman.
